OMEGA Dark Side of the Moon Black Black

This Dark Side of the Moon timepiece is in good shape. Some dust may appear in images, but it is clean.

The core of the watch — the crystal, case, and bezel — are in Very Good condition. The outside of the clasp has a couple small wear marks and the expected indications of wear in the lettering. The strap is pretty good but shows some small signs of wear as well. There is a small white piece of dust on the crystal apparent only in some of the close-up pictures and the video — not all — because this was a piece of dust that settled on the watch during photographing.

This watch also includes a travel case as well as a custom one-of-one Death Star Docking Bay for the watch (not recommended to store it there because it isn’t sealed but it is padded and could comfortably be left there temporarily (e.g. while working at a desk).

In considering purchasing this timepiece, please note that taking pictures of it presents a unique challenge. You may see others that look gray, or that look darker. This is because if the photo is taken artificially too bright (the light grey ones) you can see the details on the watch much better, plus some cameras default to a neutral color when a large dark object fills the frame. The darker images may be harder to read but more accurately reflect the wrist presence of a very dark timepiece. Your eyes can discern more than a camera, so it is both very dark and readable. Our pictures have attempted to show approximately the right level of contrast on the dial. Getting enough light to see that does make the case reflect a little too much light, so in person the watch is a little darker than the images. The Darth Vader action figure is actually black with a few gray vertical stripes at the top. Please use this image to gain a sense of the true color and darkness — the watch is lighter than the darkness, and the case surrounding the dial has a reflection on it and appears lighter like the parts of the action figure that also have a reflection. The numbers on the outside of the bezel don’t show up this starkly in person. The watch in person looks very dark grey but not black, and yet it’s possible to read the dials.
